15 - "The Way Home"
18x24 - Framed
We lived downtown Indianapolis for 8 years. And when people would learn that we had moved from Vancouver, BC (a city known for its outstanding beauty) they would always ask, "Why would you move here?" I understand why they asked. But, you know what? We loved Indianapolis. It was a great city for us. And we miss it. More than anything, we miss people there. But I also miss the grittiness of the city. I loved how there was room for growth and renewal. I loved how we could have a campfire in our backyard. I loved how it felt like a small town. I loved how people were real. So, now when someone asks me, "Why did you move to Indianapolis?" I will simply say, "For its true beauty."
"There are always flowers for those who want to see them."
