09 - "A Morning in November"
15x30 - Gallery Wrapped Canvas
Somewhere between mountains and foothills, down along a flood plain next to a river lies a little town. And into this town I rode the bus to go to school as a kid. Every day we would pass from our island onto the mainland over a bridge and see this. I probably saw this scene a thousand times growing up. I wonder if I ever really saw it, though. I wonder if I ever gazed out the window of the bus with awe. I wonder if I ever asked the bus driver to slow down so I could stare longer. Because that's what I'm like now. And I feel like a kid just trying to see a little bit more.
