05 - "Sidetracked - Capitol Hill"
18x24 - Framed
If you know me, you probably know how much I love alleys. Almost always, I find them more interesting than the street side. Maybe it's because they are raw and real. Like the inside of a person who is honest. It's not always pretty, and sometimes we hide the alleys of our hearts. But, again, light is powerful, and there is a way that light can change something that might be ugly or scary even into something beautiful. This is an alley in Seattle on Capitol Hill that I found shortly after we moved back to the Pacific Northwest, and I can't wait to go back and find some more alleys like this.
"You are an unfinished work in progress. One of the good things about life’s challenges: you get to find out that you’re capable of being far more than you ever thought possible."
- Karen Salmonsohn
